Route Event Layers and Mobile Caches?

Question

Is it possible to create a mobile cache that contains a Route Event layer? I have an mxd with a Linear Referenced Route Event layer and when I try and create a Mobile cache in ArcToolbox I get the following error:

Error extracting layer <layername> Events.

I can't find any mention in the help doc addressing event layers in mobile caches.

I have created an ArcGIS Server Map Service with Mobile Data Access with the same mxd.

Any help is appreciated!

Hello, did you find any solution to your problem? I receive the same error for all my layers in the mxd file although I'm following the steps in ArcGIS Documentation I'm unable to export mobile cache. There is no information about this error message and, as always, is general with no useful information.
