In ArcGIS for windows mobile 10.2 sdk, serialportgpsconnection1.datetime returns inconsistent time. For every 5 seconds, the time returned is off by an hour and sometimes the returned time is correct. Has anybody seen this behavior?

We are using windows mobile sdk (10.2). The time value returned by the serialportgpsconnection1 is wrong 50% of the time (off by an hour). The NMEA string from the gps receiver has the correct time. We have not seen this behavior before in any previous versions. I cannot believe that the GPS connection is returning a wrong time. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
