When using the ArcGIS Mobile Windows (RC) app to connect to the project hosted on an AGS box, if you enter "http://server/arcigs"... it fails with a generic message.
Although the label for this text entry box specifies "server/arcgis", many people will assume that it wants a url, and will put the http on the front. Watching requests in fiddler I confirmed that the app tacks on another "http://", which of course causes errors.
So - my request is that you simply look for http:// in the value that's entered, and take appropriate action.
