I've got a dataset sitting on a SL2008R2 ArcGIS 10.0 and while it works without attachments - ie. it uploads data with no trouble from Mobile 3.1 Trimble Nomad, soon as I add attachments and redownload the project to the Trimble it fails on upload.
Server side errors below - something about lower level component error. On the Trimble end the error is "unknown".
I'm only taking one photo at 1600 resolution.

Any ideas? Is it because it's ArcGIS 10.0 on SDE? The ArcGIS Server is 10.1 sp1.
