Hello

I???m running into some synchronization issues with my mobile project for BCC.

I???ve created a mobile project using a feature service hosted on AGOL, deployed the project to a device by copying and pasting the project folder onto the device, collected a feature and now wish to synchronise back to AGOL.
I can select the Synchronise task, put in the AGOL credentials (multiple times for some reason) and it returns a ???Success??? message to say that the sync has been completed.
However the edits are not there when I go online to view the feature service.

I also wanted to look at the option of accessing the project directly from ArcGIS online rather than physically transferring it onto the device however when i go to download a project, i put my credentials in and it returns a 'login failed' message. I'm connected to Wifi so not sure whats going on!

Thanks in advance.

Carma,

You might be running into a known issue where portal credentials are being cached in Mobile Project Center. It's logged as NIM089305 and is resolved in next ArcGIS for Windows Mobile update. Until the ArcGIS for Windows Mobile 10.2 release is available to mobile users, we suggest following workaround:
   · exit MPC, launch MPC > File > New
   · File > Settings > Content Sharing > ArcGIS Portal
   · format URL as https://ess.maps.arcgis.com/sharing

If workaround above doesn't resolve the issue, please log support interaction with Esri Support so you can continue troubleshooting this challenge with mobile support specialist.

Regards,
Denise

Hi Denise

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm aware of that issue and did also have that one aswell but managed to use that way around and it fixed the problem on my desktop. The issue is actually connecting from ArcGIS Mobile on a handhelf device to ArcGIS online (downloading project from AGOL). The Windows handhelp device is connected to the internet via a Wifi connection however when logging in to AGOL through ArcGIS for Mobile, is returns a 'Login Failed' message. We've tried it on 2 different devices both logging into ArcGIS online and also ArcGIS Portal with no luck.

Thanks again for your input and advice!

You might want to check your connection settings in windows itself.  Ensure that the connection that you are using is set to a "home" network.  The privacy settings for "public" or "work" networks have caused us some issues in the past.

I'm experiencing a similar issue as well, when trying to login to my arcgis online account from a Nomad handheld.

Hi All,
I have similar experience with this issue, but the problems is because "https".
I used Trimble Juno with AGM 10.2.

Ohya, any information how to use our ArcGIS Server Feature Services in AGM 10.2?

Thank You,
