Hi all,
We have Trimble Devices with Windows Embedded HH 6.5 that connect to desktop machines via Windows Mobile Device Center, they Connect to an internal instance of ArcGIS Server and pull down a Project from ArcGIS 10.0 Mobile Content Server. This works fine and has been in production for about 3 years.
We are testing the same out for Mobile Content Server 10.3 (Data is in SQL Server 2014 DB). Using the same workflow as the 10.0 Mobile Content Server. I get as far as seeing the project and downloading the project & cache schema to the device, but as soon as we try to get data for the mobile cache it cannot, and errors out on the first operational layer:
"Cannot connect to server. The remote service point could not be contacted at the transport level."
However, I am able to use my Desktop machine with ArcGIS Mobile for Windows to download the Project and Mobile Cache no problems, It seems at the device level there is some issue.
I have downloaded the latest version of ArcGIS Mobile (10.2.1) and have deployed that to the device, there is a later build of .NET CF 3.5 installed already on the device. I've also updated the device to the latest OS, and done clean installs.
I'd be interested to know if anyone out there has come across this issue before? Any workarounds?
Thanks
Terry

Just an update. I've been able to get the data downloaded and synchronizing by removing the reference to port 6080 when creating the Mobile Project.
