Has any one been successful on this?

I have created a new graphics layer, populated it with graphics and assigned simple marker symbols which display correctly on the map web part. However, the map contents panel shows the legend of my graphics layer with a standard orange pushpin and not the one that the graphics are displayed with.

Any suggestions to sort this?

Setting the renderer to the graphics layer instead of setting symbols to individual graphics sorted this issue.
