I change the "ArcGISConnection" from ArcGIS Online to my Portal for ArcGIS.

I can sign in my Portal, and I added the SharePoint list in the map.

I tried to publish that map to portal.

But the process to publish didn't finish and the map and feature services couldn't be created.

Can you publish the map or layers to Portal for ArcGIS?

Hi Atsuhito,

Can you tell me which version you're using at the moment? We've seen a bug in our most recent 4.0 Beta 1 release and it might be related.

Hi Katy,

When I posted this, I used the Esri Maps for SharePoint 3.0.1.

At that point I just participated the Portal for ArcGIS workshop in Sigapore.

I tried to chech publishing function to Portal at that workshop.
But I couldn't.

With the beta version, I don't still try with Portal.
(Offcourse I federated ArcGIS for Server properly.)

Could you publish the SharePoint list layer to Portal with EM4SP 3.0 or 3.0.1?

Hi Atsuhito,

Yes, I can confirm we've found a bug in sharing SharePoint list layers to Portal in the 4.0 Beta 1. We're hoping to have this fixed as quickly as possible.

Hi Katy,

Thank you.

OK. I hope it too with the release version or 4.0 next beta.

I have more questions about the corraboration with Portal for ArcGIS.

If using only Portal for ArcGIS (ie. an organization hopes the on-premise systems), how do I prepare the Esri Maps Web Part(with JavaScript) resources "la.arcgis.com" provides and the geoprocessing tools (ie.service area and so on) ArcGIS Online provides?

Hi Atsuhito,

We'll have a set of files that reside locally if you're in a situation where you are using Portal and are disconnected. The workflow will be similar to the section "Working in an offline environment" from Esri Maps for Office. http://doc.arcgis.com/en/maps-for-office/help/configure-esri-maps.htm

Katy,

Thank you for your information.

I checked the link out and understood that we can use EM4O in the on-premise.

Then where can I get the resource files for Esri Maps for SharePoint?
