I installed ESRI Maps for Office toolbars on Microsoft Office 2010 for Excel and Powerpoint. They both installed correctly, and I restarted the computer. When launching Excel or Powerpoint, with either new or existing files, I navigate to the Esri Maps tabs, and "Insert Map" "Sign In ArcGIS" and "Help" are visible buttons. The help button works, but the other two immediately crash the program.
Both my computer and Office are 64-bit. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Esri Maps for Office, but it still does not operate correctly. I have seen older threads discussing issues, but haven't spotted any with a solution that works for me.
