Hi.
I've added custom location types in Maps for Office using data that i've uploaded to AGOL without any problems. However; when i try and create one using content from my own ArcGIS Server it freezes up. Our ArcGIS server isn't accessible outside the company so what i think is happening is AGOL is trying to connect to my rest end point but cant. Is this the desired behaviour for thee tools?
I've also tried doing the same thing installing and configuring ArcGIS Portal internally but even still i get the exact same problem. Using Fiddler2 i can see Maps for office tried to connect to la.arcgis.com. Can this connection be overridden? How do companies with no internet access resolve this issue?
