Change log and updates (March, 2023) ArcGIS for SharePoint- v 2023.1.1.1362.1.
Hello SharePoint Users! We are pleased to let you know of the new enhancements as well as bug fixes in the latest release of ArcGIS for SharePoint- v 2023.1.1.1362.1.
You will see the updates at once, if you don’t see the changes, you may need to refresh or reload your SharePoint page. As always, please let us know of any improvements you would like to see.
Restrict Geosearch to current site
Prior to this enhancement, page authors and page viewers could geosearch documents within or outside the current site and page authors couldn’t restrict page viewers to geosearching documents within the current site. However, after this update, page authors can choose to restrict or allow the page viewers to geosearch documents within and out of the current site.
Two possible scenarios are now applicable:
- When the page Author restricts the page viewers within the current site by hiding the option from the viewers.

2. When the page Author doesn’t restrict the page viewers within the current site by showing the option to the viewers

Dynamic Data: Extent of feature selected when filtered no longer zooms to layer but feature extent
Before this update, when working with Dynamic Filtering in SharePoint and selections are made on the map, map zooms into the layer extent and not the selected features extent. After this update, selections made when filtered are zoomed into the feature extent to allow users have a closer look of the selected feature of interest.
Bug fixes
- User can open the shared web map on the Enterprise Portal's map viewer (classic and new).
Quality of life Update
Time slider now displays complete time data.
