Hi All,

I am having issues with autozoom for the ArcGIS map in PowerBI (version 2025.1.800).  I have a data table with the following fields:

  • Site (text)
  • Latitude (number)
  • Longitude (number)
  • State (text)
  • State FIPS (number)
  • County (text)
  • County FIPS (number)
  • Full FIPS - joins State & County FIPS - converted to text

I entered the latitude and longitude into the appropriate fields in the ArcGIS map, and I used the Full FIPS code as a Join Layer with "Dtl cnty - Counties".

I have two slicers, one for County and one for Site.  When I use the County Slicer, it properly autozooms to the selected County, but when I use the Site slicer, it tries to zoom in, but it then zooms back out to the County level.

How can I get the map to autozoom to the site level when I select a site?

Hi,

Is it possible for you to provide screenshots of what you are experiencing?

@mgentile1 What is stored in the the site field? Is it a type of site? If the records for "site" are available in counties across the country then the visual will cumulatively determine the extent of the filter. Maybe that is why it is zooming to full extent. Another scenario could be that there are no records for the site in the current slice, in that case the map will zoom to the default extent.

If none of the above is the case then we will need more details on why this is happening.

Thanks,
