When using Power BI with users who are less familiar with GIS, I found that the selection tool is not very intuitive for them. They often don’t understand why they cannot select a referenced feature on the map unless I explain it to them.
I suggest setting the selection tool to be active by default or allowing the creator to choose this as the default setting. This would make it easier for end users, so they don’t need to manually activate the selection tool.
Additionally, the selection should be available for all referenced layers, not just one at a time.
