Currently, if you right-click and hold on the map, moving your cursor will rotate the map. However, there is no way to reset the map orientation so that North is "up". Adding a standed north arrow button to reset rotation would be nice. Furthermore, some users might find an option to enable/disable map rotation useful

Hi JCable,

Thank you for this idea. As someone who often accidentally right-clicks and drags the map myself, I concur about it being nigh impossible to get north completely at the top again.

This seems like an interesting solution. I'm sure the PowerBI team will consider this idea.

Thanks for contributing here on Community and for using ArcGIS for MS365!

Thank you @JCable for your idea! 😊 And thank you @Ian_Muehlenhaus for your help! 🤗

In the upcoming release (June 2025), we will bring a new feature called "Home extent". This feature might help you if you accidentally rotate the map. If you set the current map view as home extent, and then you go to another area or rotate the map, click on the home extent button, it will bring you back to the map view you set before.

We will see what we can do better to bring you back to the "north up" map.
