I've been using join layers to integrate previous ArcGIS files into my current reporting, Love the feature but the only thing that bothers me about it is that you lose the ability to use tooltips with Join Layers. Is there a possibility to add this as a feature?

Hi @dgoodwinny ,

Thanks for your idea! Tooltip is for Power BI data layer. To view the information from the join layer, please toggle on feature information pane and click on the join layer features. Please let me know if you have more questions or concerns. Thank you!

Hello @NaZhang_Esri ,

While that suggestion was genuinely helpful (Did not know how to work the Feature information feature), I'm afraid it didn't necessarily answer my question. As much as the tool tip is a power bi functionality, I figured that since the data is joined together between arcgis and powerbi on the map, power bi would be able to extract information and display it in a tooltip. I want users to be able to hover over something and get it in a power bi tool tip.

Hi @dgoodwinny ,

Thanks for the information. The join result layer is kinda considered as a feature layer so you will need to view the information form the feature info pane. I see what you are asking for. We will see what we can do with your idea. Thank you!
