Hi everyone. Good day.

I expose the case again in English.
Excuse my Google translation, I did not know that it is only published in English.

"ERROR GRAVE AL INICIAR PORTALES PLUGIN ARCGIS FOR AUTOCAD"
"FATAL ERROR WHEN STARTING PORTALS PLUGIN ARCGIS FOR AUTOCAD"

Hello, I am writing to you to discuss the following problem.
Until now, I had the ArcGIS for AutoCAD plugin installed and working, with the Autocad Map 2023 software and under the Windows 10 operating system.
Since last Tuesday, I get a serious error when starting Autocad Map 2023 and the plugin does not load.
We have downloaded and reinstalled the ArcGIS for AutoCAD plugin, to the most current version (410). but we still have the problem.
Also, we had it installed in Autocad Map 2021, but when checking it in that version, it gives the same message.
I enclose screenshots of the "serious error" message, translated.

Thanks for your help

A cordial greeting,

Hello Vicente,

It appears you posted the error twice. I replied with the following information in your original post:

I appreciate the translated post and especially the screen captures, thank you for this. I think the user settings file ArcGIS for AutoCAD creates and updates with a users ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise organizational connections is corrupt. This settings file for ArcGIS for AutoCAD is named, ApplicationSettings.json and is located at:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\ESRI\ArcGIS for AutoCAD\400

Let's try the following steps to get you back up and running:

1) Make sure all Autodesk products are not running.
2) Open Windows File Explorer, locate and delete the ApplicationSettings.json file.
3) Start Autodesk Map 3D and see that the ArcGIS for AutoCAD splash screen appears.
4) If not not send a screen capture of the errors.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello dear Sir Dan.
I greatly appreciate his attention and collaboration. It has been a great help.

Tell you that, with the solution and the steps that you have mentioned, the problem has been solved.

The truth was, there was no explanation, because suddenly, without having made any changes, it stopped working.

I also wanted to tell you that I was looking for information about the "error" and we got to review the configuration file (.json).
When I checked it with "Notepad", the file was empty, it contained no information (0 bytes) and I thought it was not the right program to read the file. What I couldn't explain why. Now, I have checked it and it contains information.

Atentamente, Vicente Almenar
