Hi there,

End user wants to load in different web feature layers in separate DWGs and then xref them all together.  I did a quick test and did not see any content, although I am not confident that I did it correctly.

Is this a supported workflow?

Thanks,

Marc

Hello @Marc_Graham,

Web feature layers contained in a drawing are unsupported when used as an XRef because ArcGIS for AutoCAD cannot track the changes.

Thanks Dan, I thought that might be the case.

Hi @Marc_Graham , I'm not sure if this is an ESRI approved work around, but when I have users who do not have the plug in, I change the linework (or points, polygons) layer to a non-ESRI layer and delete the layer from contents. That allows it to be just an AutoCAD layer and it transfers much easier among people at my firm without the plug-in. I imagine this will allow it to work in an XREF as well. If you need to to remain a web feature, it won't work, but I figured I'd throw it out there just in case.
