I have an AutoCAD layout in ArcGIS for AutoCAD 350 with two different model space views (mviews). I have my design drawn over the satellite base map.
I can only get one of the mviews to show the base map. The other one shows only my line work. Regenerating the view in the blank mview turns the photo on, but then the photo in the first mview turns off.

Tim,
Map services when set to display DYNAMIC-ly will re-size to the "current" Viewport. You can have multiple references to the same map service in your drawing. You can set each of these map service references to draw ON DEMAND. You can then zoom into each viewport one at a time and then request that ONE of those two map service intances redraw to fill your viewport. Then go to the other viewport and REFRESH the OTHER map service instance in that viewport. Then you will have the same map service (although two different instnaces of it) filling the two different viewports in your layout view.
