Observe Name of Group Service

When Adding a Group Map Service, can we observe the name of the Map Service, say I have a ServerNamePath\Water\MapServer, and I add via URL, the name of the layer in Contents shows as Map Server, I want it to say Water.

Hello Ted,

Your post mentions the use of a MapServer, however this requested functionality already exists for a MapServer URL.

Example URL:
https://Domain.com/WebAdaptorName/rest/services/USA/USA/MapServer

As we can see in the above screen capture perhaps your request is about a FeatureServer [https://Domain.com/WebAdaptorName/rest/services/USA/USA/FeatureServer] (Web Feature Layer) instead which as we can see from the image is not available in the current build of ArcGIS for AutoCAD.

We will have to test again and get a screenshot so we can provide.  We were seeing not USA listed but the word Map Server.  Is your sample above from AGOL or Enterprise?

Weird behavior, first layer Shows as Map Server (Cadastral), second layer shows as expected.
