Unable to update a feature with a related table

Hello all,

I have a hydrant inspections map that has our hydrant features and a related table with inspection information.  We have been unable to edit the hydrants in this map.  The error message says "Arcade expression is invalid". They can be edited in other maps, which is why I'm suspecting something with the table.

This hasn't been an issue until recently.  Are there arcade expressions working in the background somewhere that I wouldn't know about?  I know there is a new emphasis on using Field Maps Designer, but we have not used that before - could there be something in the recent update that would require it to be used in this situation?  We are using Enterprise 10.8.1.

Do you have any attribute rules set on the feature layer that could be causing the issue.  I was having a similar issue and once I disabled the attribute rule then it started working again.  It wasn't one that we were using so I was fine disabling instead of looking for the root cause of it breaking.
