Hello,
We have a community user who is experiencing issues in ArcGIS Field Maps. When they open the app, they get the error:

"Unable to Open
code expired"

code expired.png

I can't find anything about this error looking online.
They are unable to access any of their maps.

They are running on an iPhone 12, iOS 16.2.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hey @DataOfficer

I assume you've tried these things already, but here's a list of things to try:

Restart Phone

Log out and back into app

Check for app updates

Reinstall app

Reshare map with user

View Field Maps logs in Troubleshooting section of account to see if something may be there

Once those are all tested, maybe something will come through! I'm hoping the last suggestion of the logs will be fruitful!

Hope that helps!

Hi @CodyPatterson,

Thank you for the quick response. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app has done the trick. Would still be interested to know what the cause of the error was though, especially since there seems to be nothing about it online. If it occurs again I'll try and get some logging done.

Hey @DataOfficer

From the error, in my mind "code" typically points toward token or similar authentication methods, it may have been corrupted during a failed partial update or similar, maybe a bad connection caused an issue to occur, but that's all speculation, hopefully it stays working and glad that helped!
