Hello Esri Community,

I am encountering an issue when attempting to use a map in Field Maps on an IOS device.

The Problem:

When the map attempts to load, a pop-up titled "Secured Basemap" appears, stating: "The credentials were incorrect for World Imagery."

This is forcing me to manually enter a username and password to view the map. It didn’t ask for this a few weeks ago, I was able go collect with no issues.

Context & Steps Taken:

1. I have successfully signed into my ArcGIS Online account within the mobile application.

2. The map I am trying to load uses World Imagery as its basemap.

3. I have tried re-entering my ArcGIS Online credentials into the prompt, but it displays the same "credentials were incorrect" message.

4. The credentials I am using are confirmed to be correct for my ArcGIS Online account.

5. I updated Field Maps app and am still seeing the message.

Any guidance on how to troubleshoot which service is throwing the error and how to permanently resolve the login prompt would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @TemesgenTesfay

This could be some type of cached data issue, have you attempted to fully uninstall and reinstall Field Maps? Also, have you checked the Account > Troubleshooting logs section of the Field Maps settings? There may be some indication of what could be going on there! If all else fails, I would recommend reaching out to Esri support, I remember a similar situation with Android not too long ago, but the resolution wasn't shared unfortunately.
