Runtime Exception in ArcGIS Field Maps 25.1.0

Attempting to submit a point in a map in Field Maps that is set for offline use, this error pops up:

Unable to submit

com.esri.arcgisruntime.ArcGISRuntimeException: SQLite ready

SQLite: 8

Attempt to write a readonly database.

So there must be some problem saving point data directly to my phone (Android version 15, OneUI version 7.0). What steps should I go through to troubleshoot this? Thank you.

Hi @MichaelMorgan4 ,hmm tricky. Is this the first time trying this? If yes, check your phone's field maps app permissions (storage access allowed).

Do you have enough storage on your phone? Redownload the offline area

Do you use an SD card? If yes, make sure it is not inserted as read-only.

If it is the first time using that layer, maybe check the ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise settings? Are you able to edit it online?

Do you have any updates for your phone or app that need to be installed? 

And the most important step is to restart your phone. 😂

We need to decide if it is an issue with the layer, device/app, your account, or something else. Maybe test with different account,a  different phone, different layer online and offline?

If none of this works, go to Field Maps → tap the profile icon → Troubleshooting → Send Logs and share them so we can have a look .
