Polygons randomly disappear in ArcGIS Field Maps

I have a simple map that contains a couple boundaries, a polygon layer that has boundaries colored by an attribute and labeled with an ID and a set of points that will be added to by taking surveys in the colored polygons (which are vegetation survey targets). In ArcGIS online, the survey target polygons draw just fine, and the labels, which are scale dependent do what they are supposed to.  However, in ArcGIS Field Maps, some polygons disappear and reappear somewhat randomly (they don't disappear when the labels appear, and they reappear at different zoom levels for different polygons). This really keeps the app from being useful, so wondering how to prevent this.20220922_081824.jpgnotice the yellow bounded polygon in the south west part of map (PMAA0330) that was missing when zoomed out further.notice the yellow bounded polygon in the south west part of map (PMAA0330) that was missing when zoomed out further.

This issue was fixed by setting up the labels differently.  However, it has returned.  This time I had to reload the polygons with no cartography and a cooperator set up the cartography in their AGOL.  Super frustrating.
