We have just encountered this too.
@ShaunThurstans_TASLAND Sorry you are having issues with ArcGIS Field Maps.
Are you seeing this on multiple devices? Is that same user able to open up those maps in Map Viewer in a browser? Are other users having the same issues with the same maps?

We only see it on one user on their mobile device.
They can see the same webmap through the web viewer and they can use previously downloaded offline areas.
