Field Map does not honor "Disable Popup" from webmap

Within my field map, I have a view layer from the primary waypoints layer that acts as a "Halo" around some points that require follow-up in some capacity. Throughout the rest of the maps and applications, this layer is not selectable and simply acts as a way to see important points on the map (as it should be). In Field Maps however, this layer is selectable and shows up in the list to see the attributes when I click on the waypoint, even though Pop-ups are turned off in the backend webmap. Can I change any settings to make this layer not selectable so we don't confuse the field users? I placed a picture of what I am talking about below. Thanks!

did you try to deactivate the popup also in the webservice (map- or featureservice) itself not only in the Webmap?

Know this was a while back, but suspect you haven't found a solution as it is STILL this way so thought I'd post a workaround to the issue that I recently discovered.

I see this issue when I add a MapService to a map that I consume in the field maps app (even though the JSON of the map says that the popup disabled = true, Field maps app will still pop them up even though they are disabled for map viewer).

However, if you add EACH feature layer from the map service individually (even if there is only ONE layer in the MapService), Field Maps app will then honor the disabled popup settings.

Interestingly, once added to map viewer, you can re-group them and FM app will still honor the disabled popups.

Thanks, your work around worked for me, and yes, the context where it happens is Field Maps. This is a pretty annoying bug.

Hi all, I got a work around that's working for me in Enterprise 11.3 and current Field Maps (26.1.1.2728). I have a Map Image layer of our current aerial photography. None of our users need/want to see the Popup results for the aerial imagery.

I did the same as everyone else and Disabled Popups in the Web Map, but Field Maps did not honor it. I found if I Deleted all Fields from the Popup in the Web Map and THEN Disabled Popups, then I would not get Popups in Field Maps.
