Editing layout of feature in Web map does not work in Field maps

I made a Web map from ArcgisPro for use in Field maps (for recording observations of bats), I made some changes in the layout of one of the features in the Web map in Arcgisonline. The changes i made in the web map are not visible in the Field maps app and the Field maps editor. I cannot change the layout in the Field maps editor.

How can i change the layout so that the new layout is also visible in Field maps?

Hi @JurgenRotteveel , can you clarify what you mean by Layout? Do you mean the Symbology/Styles were changed or reordering or layers perhaps? Please provide some details or screenshot and I can help with what might have went wrong. Thanks!

Hi Colin, i mean the symbology of the layer. I changed the symbology in Arcgisonline but is does not change in Field maps.

Was this done in Map Viewer or at the layer's item details page (visualization tab)? Changes made directly to the Layer on the item details page are not automatically inherited to any Web Map the layer participates in and you would need to re-add the layer to pick up these changes. If you modified the symbology of the layer directly in Map Viewer and still do not see them reflected in Field Maps, please let me know what symbology you are using and we can investigate further.

I made the changes of the symbology directly in the Web map viewer. Originally i made the symbology of the layer in Arcgispro but after i made a web map i made some changes of the symbology in the web map viewer.

Can you send a screenshot from Map Viewer with the symbology you are using? Have you tried other symbology to see if those are being reflected in Field Maps correctly?

Sorry I may need a bit more clarification. I looked for this symbology in Map Viewer and I dont believe I can find it. Is these found under "vector symbols" or somewhere else? I see from your other screenshot that the symbol does not show when selecting a layer for editing. Do the symbols draw when features are created or for existing features? The map looks empty but im not sure if there are no features or they are not rendering. Thank you!

I found the symbols in the ''shape'' category in the Web map viewer:

They do Show up on the map but they dont show up in the list in Field maps when i want to collect data
