Broken Search in Field Maps 25.2.0

All of our field crews are unable to use search on any layers that are within a layer group. Searching against these layers returns no result.

Republishing with those layers outside the layer group - searching works. Moving one back in to the layer group, republishing and searching doesn't work on that layer again.

Is this an Enterprise environment or Online? In my 11.3 Enterprise setup, I frequently see an error message saying "Group Layers are not supported" which this may have just caught up to that error. I do feel it is kind of strange that it would just flip over to not working in one update though! I would suggest possibly opening an Esri support ticket and asking them, but the Field Maps team has been pretty active on here since the update so they may reach out here too!

Ours are SQL Server 2019 egdb referenced layers, published to Enterprise 11.3 MapServer services.
For the moment I've published temporary services with the layers outside the groups, and these work fine.
(Except for some other problematic layers which refuse to show popups - which has been an ongoing issue - these are still unsearchable)

As far as I'm aware the warning on group layers is for feature services (and hosted layers etc) - but should work fine for MapServers - nevertheless it is something I've been wary of. I'm working with our local support, but they've haven't replicated it yet.

I'm also about to start investigating if the same issue has suddenly started affecting access to these layers using ArcGIS for PowerBI.

I only have a few group layers in maps but they seem to still work in search in the new app. I'm using referenced layers in SQL from Pro 3.3.5 on Enterprise 11.3

The team is aware of this and there is an BUG logged on the Support side. Please reach out to Support to have yourself attached if you are running into this problem:  BUG-000179817

The issue impacts search on Group sublayers.
