At my place of work, we have projects in the US and in Mexico for biological surveys. At the moment, our surveys are created in English. It would be a great benefit to our colleagues in Mexico if they could toggle the actual survey to be in Spanish. I know that from the phone settings, we can turn the UI to be in Spanish, but Field Maps itself currently does not change the layer name or field name in a form to Spanish.

I had been thinking about this issue for some time, and I am taking the Instant Apps MOOC, and seen that this is capability within Instant Apps... so my idea is this capability is brought into Field Maps.

And if for some reason, if it's too difficult to bring this capability into field maps as it is in Instant Apps, my original idea was to have an option for 'Additional Language' alias type for the layer names and field names, (so a second alias for a both layers and fields). From there the user can toggle which language they prefer in the app. For example, I can write 'Data Point' for the English layer name, and '**bleep** de Datos' for the second layer alias name and 'Date' for the English field name and 'Fecha' for the 'Additional Language' Alias, and so on for each layer name and field name.

Thanks!

*This would also be a great capability to add to Survey123

**And this idea applies for other languages as well.

Hi,

At our company we have a similar request. We work with a bilingual organization that wants to work on data from a shared ArcGIS Pro project (shared as *.ppkx) and depending on the client language settings we would like to display the layer names and attribute fields in Dutch or in French.

We're not aware of any method to provide dynamic language settings like that but would also welcome this.

Best regards,
Sander
