Setup of data, services, & maps for offline use is painfully too complicated when many users only need a read only solution. I'd like to present a new concept for offline which simplifies things on the authoring and user end. See attached diagram.
We need a way to setup a feature service which can push a copy of data to cloud storage and be automatically updated nightly. On the mobile user end we need setting which allows cloud data to be pushed to the device when online. The result is an easy way for users to see current data from enterprise GIS on a mobile device offline.
Field technicians don't want to configure settings, and download offline areas. They want to open the app and get to work.
