My organization is about to upgrade our portal, and we were sent an email telling us to sync and remove all of our offline areas.
I am a member of several groups with access to tens of maps in field maps, and I could not find an easy way to figure out which maps had offline areas downloaded, short of opening every group folder and checking each map in there (since each map with a downloaded offline area has a little label telling me that)
I would like to search for maps with offline areas on the device, similar to how we can search for read-only maps.
A good idea. In the meantime, what if you put your device in flight mode and search using the "Editing" or "Read-Only" options I can see there. Might return everything that is on the device and hide the ones not loaded from the web?
I'm gonna be honest, I did not expect that to work, but it did. I'd still like to be able to search for offline areas directly, but going into airplane mode and searching by Editable is a valid workaround at this time.
Awesome! Glad it helped! I've found that Flight Mode helps with a couple of things in Field Maps (like working offline with maps that contain arcade expressions).
@AlfredBaldenweck does the "On device" section in Browse (found at the top or just under the current map card) list all of your maps that you have downloaded? The "On device" section should also be present in your search results.
.
I suppose I missed it haha. I think you could probably mark this as "Already Offered".
The "On device" section in Browse lists your maps that you have downloaded.
