Full-Screen Form Mode on iPad for Field Maps

We deploy ArcGIS Field Maps to field workers who are primarily older users, many of whom are not highly familiar with mobile technology. On iPad, the form panel only occupies half the screen — the other half shows the map.

While we understand this is intentional for users who need to reference the map while editing, it creates real usability issues for our team:

• Text and input fields appear small on a half-width panel
• Users frequently attempt to interact with the wrong side of the screen
• Scrolling through longer forms on a narrow panel is difficult for users with reduced dexterity

Suggesting to add an optional toggle — either in Field Maps Designer or in the app settings — to allow the form to expand to full screen on iPad when a feature is tapped or being edited, similar to how it behaves on iPhone.

This doesn't need to replace the current split-panel behaviour — just give map authors or users the choice. A simple "Form display on iPad: Split view / Full screen" setting would go a long way for accessibility and broader user adoption.
