CSV File Fails to Publish

My csv file will not publish in ArcGIS Explorer Online. I do not know why. When I tried to upload the file, I got an upload error. What am I doing to this file to cause this? I also was unable to use a shapefile I created from a spreadsheet. Those created files do not seem to have a .prj file as part of the shapefile. Why is that? I also tried to show the error message and wasn't able to. Nothing is working today and I am very frustrated!

Hi,

After a rather lengthy process of trial and error I tracked the offending row down to Row 92 which doesn't geocode: Penn State University,Unversity Park,PA.

I removed this row and the import worked successfully. Here is a map I saved after the import: http://explorer.arcgis.com/?open=e800ff4927944c9f822a0f20d23c2f59

The importer obviously should be more tolerant and error messages need to be more informative - this is something being worked on at the moment.

Regarding your comment about a shapefile not importing, it does indeed need an associated prj file so that the points can be correctly located on the map.
