Hi,

Any idea on how to re-configure the properties of image services in ArcGIS Explorer to ensure the Histogram "NON Stretch"?

When large image service(s) with 100,000-150,000 sqr KM loaded into ArcGIS Explorer (1700), it looks the histogram automatically is stretched with standard deviation equal to 2.

Owning our image services are well pre-processed before serving, such kind of automatic histogram stretch (even, using manual 'Enhance" operations) mostly make our image quality in color get worse (attached snapshot). So, we would like to re-configure the properties of image services just like desktop ArcGIS, and ensure its histogram NON-Stretch.

Where is the Option for such operation?

The easiest thing to do is:

Save the image service layer out of ArcMap as a Layer file, or create a layer package, and add the layer to ArcGIS Explorer.  ArcGIS Exlorer will honor the layer properties defined in ArcMap (or ArcGlobe if using 3D).
