I am new to ArcGIS Explorer and am trying to figure out how to work with color fill. I have a state county map. The field I am mapping has values for each county ranging from 1 to 9. In looking at help files and searching the Internet, I've seen references to color ramps...however, I have not been able to figure out how to access this feature in ArcGIS Explorer. Is this feature available in the Explorer Desktop version? If not, is there another work around?

Thanks for any assistance folks can provide!

Steve:

Do you have ArcMap?  Are you brining the counties into AGX from a shapefile?

Bring the counties shapefile into ArcMap.  Symbolize the counties in ArcMap.  Right-click on the counties layer in ArcMap and choose Save as Layer File.  Open your AGX map and hit the Add Content button and choose ArcGIS Layers and bring your counties LYR file into AGX.  The counties shapefile will be symolized in AGX as you symbolized it in ArcMap.
