On my Windows XP system the ArcGISExplorerDownload.exe process exits on completion of installation.
On my Windows 7 64 bit OS running .net 4, the ArcGISExplorerDownload.exe process never exits on completion of installation. ARCGIS Explorer Desktop however loads and runs correctly even though the offending process is still running. Of course a reboot "fixes" this dangling process. Has anybody seen this behaviour before? Do you know how the process can be made to exit automatically (without killing it from the Task Manager) ?
