Hi,
I have added the below way point  (PDO 1993 UTM ZONE 40) in ARCGIS explorer and ARCMAP10. But both plotted it in different location (approx 300m away). ARCMAP plotted at the expected location (Location-A) but ARCGIS explorer did not (Location B).
Then from ARCMAP I exported the layer to google earth by Layer to KML which plotted at wrong place (Location B).
Then I created a waypoint in MAPSOURCE and it was exported to GOOGLE EARTH, which plotted at the intended location (Location A)
Also I converted coordinate to WGS 84 (22.14183+ 56.02356) which when potted I got intended location A.
Please clarify what is the problem for this inconsistency?

Google Earth and ArcGIS Explorer use WGS 1984, so it is a good idea to reproject your data to WGS 1984, being sure to use the proper geographic transformation. It's hard to say why it lined up correctly in ArcMap originally, but it depends on what reference data you were using (and what coordinate system it was in) as well as what you had the data frame coordinate system set to. To keep things simple, if you want to display the data in Explorer or Google Earth, you might want to think about reprojecting to WGS 1984.

Dear Lucas Danzinger,
Thanks for the quick response. The coordinates are in PDO 1993 UTM ZONE 40. In ARCMAP and ARCGIS EXPLORER while importing the CSV file it is asking the coordinate system which I had selected as the same (ie PDO 1993 UTM ZONE 40). This is supposed to plot at the same point but it did not. The only doubt I have is addition of base map in case of explorer, there is no provision to specify coordinate system for base map (bingmap), hence my understanding is that it will get projected in PDO 1993 UTM ZONE 40 since the explorer / arcmap is already in PDO 1993 UTM ZONE 40. Kindly clarify.
Regards,
Rajan
