9.2 to 10.1 - Error Opening old templates

Question

Hi all,

My place of work has recently upgraded from ArcGIS 9.2 to 10.1.

My issue is I have many old map documents which I need to open, but I get an error message when trying to do so.  I don't want to have to recreate these templates/maps in 10.1 as there are many and all have custom styling and labelling etc.

I will insert an image of the error message, and if any one could offer some advice I'd be very grateful.

Further to this, it seems from speaking to a colleague, the path the template it is looking for has changed, I think due to a server change, so, the question is, how to I tell the old templates to look for the new path?

Our GIS man has told me he has tried MXD Doctor to no avail.
