Unable to rearrange the list of values in the filter for "Predefine multiple values".

Hello everyone,

I am trying to re-arrange the list of values in a filter for predefine multiple values. Although I can manually rearrange the values by dragging the cells (see image below), it does not affect the order of values in the filter. The filter always arranges the values alphabetically. Is this a bug, or is it a limitation of the EB app? Does anyone have any insights?

Hi JB, this is a limitation of the Experience Builder application at this time. Another user has submitted this issue to the ArcGIS Experience Builder Ideas page:

Filter Widget | Option to display order of predefined values in filter that have been set in particular order in SQL generator

Please consider upvoting the Idea to add this functionality to Experience Builder and adding comments.

Hi All,

It has been enhanced on ArcGIS Online in June 2025, the upcoming Developer version 1.18, and will be enhanced on ArcGIS Enterprise 12.0.

When you're using predefined unique values, the filter preserves the order set in the configuration, and that same order is displayed at run time.
