Near Me: Summerize area based on values in a field

Hi,
In the old screening widget in WAB, it was possible to sum the area (e.g., hectares) divided by category. Now, you can only sum the area of all objects within the search area.
But is there a way to use "Expression—Build a more complex expression with the five function operators (AVERAGE, COUNT, SUM, MAX, and MIN) and data fields." so that I can get the same functionality as in the screening widget?
