I'm currently working on transitioning some old apps my organization made within Web AppBuilder, into Experience Builder (Web AppBuilder having a whole host of issues recently with functionality and visuals and our clients have been complaining). However, one of the biggest things that's missing within Experience Builder is a Public Notification widget and it is one of the most important features for many of our clients. I know Instant Apps still has it enabled (why you would have it there instead of Experience Builder is beyond me), but that application does not have the level of depth I need to transfer my client's applications over without losing other significant features. I also know you can modify the Near Me widget to function as a make-your-own Public Notification widget. However, while that works cleanly, I'm missing an ability to export the output of that as labels in a PDF like the Public Notification widget in Web AppBuilder allows. So I was wondering if there was any way to export those outputs as a label within Experience Builder?
Hi @Mike_RPC ,
The Print widget in Experience Builder supports printing reports using custom print services that support reports.
This blog will give you step-by-step instructions for creating and publishing print services that can be used in Experience Builder to generate reports: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-enterprise/national-government/creating-a-custom-pr...
You can select the output data source of the Near me widget in Print Widget - Template Configuration and select the MAP_ONLY layout option if you want to print reports only.
Thanks,
Shengdi
I don't think that will do what I need it to do at all. The Public Notification widget in Web AppBuilder allows you to export the properties selected by the widget as preformatted address labels for mailing purposes. I want to know if it's possible to implement this in Experience Builder since it's an essential tool for my clients. So the output would have to look like:
Owner Name
Owner's Street Address
Town and Zip Code
Which they can print out and immediately stick to envelopes for mailing.
