Is there a bug with the use of a split field in the Diagram widget and the Timeline widget?

Hello,

I'm creating a map that traces transactions year by year (with a step of 2 years) and I want a graph next to it to update as and when the timeline gauge is moved.

This works very well EXCEPT in the case where I have a chart set up to sum areas by year and split them using a quarter field.

The graph only updates every other time, and if I set up my graph so that the information per quarter (split field) appears ‘stacked’ then it doesn't work at all and the graph doesn't move.

Has anyone had this bug and knows how to fix it?

Hi @JasonBOCQUET, what are your environment details (version, etc.), and do you have a sample to share?

Hi @TonghuiMing i'm on Exp Builder Dev Edition 1.17

I cannot share data because it's confidential. Just i can tell you that I use a data field where is date and time on.

I've made some more test and it seems to appears that the "bug" is due to the slowing loading of the charts to be actualized by the evolution of the chronology on the map.

I've slowed the chronologic slider and I have more success to update the chart in consequence of the features on the map.
