Hi all! I'm trying to query multiple layers with a single query in ArcGIS Experience Builder.
For example, I want to be able to have someone draw a polygon and have it return a place name, environmental information for that place, and land ownership for that place. Those attributes would be coming from three different layers with none of the same fields.
Is this possible and if so, could someone please point me to a resource/how-to guide/tutorial? I've trawled the web with no luck so far.
Thank you in advance!
Hi @Corey
What do you want to do exactly ? You mention "query" do you need to make spatial request with the Query Widget ?
@JasonBOCQUET thank you for your response! As mentioned in the second paragraph of my post, I want to be able to have someone draw a polygon and have it return a place name, environmental information for that place, and land ownership for that place. Those attributes would be coming from three different layers with none of the same fields. Essentially, I want to do a spatial query of multiple layers at the same time using a single "drawn graphic" spatial query. Does that make sense?
Ok I understand what you want.
You can use a Text Widget, connected to your layers; you can use dynamic content to write expression, call attributes, etc.
Define action on selection between the Map and Structure, by setting your layer that you want to querying.
so when you made a selection on a map, your text widget can be updated in function of what you set.
You can set a List widget if you have to select multiple features on the map and see in other organization.
The only thing that you have to keep it mind is to set the action between the map and the structure.
The layers that you want to select have to be active on the map. So if you don't want to see 3 layers, you can duplicate your layers, make them invisible by the symbology.
