How to change units of measurement for clipped features (Near Me widget)

Question

I have configured a Near Me widget which performs a Proximity analysis. The idea is that a user can draw a polygon, and the widget will select all features which intersect with that polygon. I have "Clip features" enabled, so that users can see the intersected area of the feature.

My question is, how do I change the units of measurement? It is currently square feet, but I can't find any setting to change it to, say, acres.

For larger features, acres would be a much more useful form of measurement than square feet.

Hello @tomESRI,

That parameter only changes the linear unit of distance. As best I can tell, in this widget units of area are based off of this selection, e.g., square feet from feet, square kilometers from kilometers, etc.

However, there is no "linear acre", so I have no way of selecting acres as a valid measurement of area.

In the Near Me widget analysis settings, there is a dropdown that lets you choose the distance parameter.
