Draw Widget Measurement options

I'm comparing the Draw Widget in Experience Builder to WebApp Builder and was wondering....

1. In WebApp Builder you can control the order of measurement formats in your list and whatever is at the top of your list is the default measurement once you turn on Show measurement. In Experience Builder, it doesn't seem you have control of the order of the formats and by default nothing is selected. This causes another step for the end user. Is there anything on the roadmap for this option?

2. I had someone ask if there is way in the Draw Widget where the toggle for show measurement is by default already on. I don't see that as option in the default setup.

If I used the Developer Edition of Experience Builder would it be possible to do any of the above items without a bunch of coding?

1. This feature is in the product plan. We will work on this in the next release.

2. We don't plan to enable this option by default. It's an opt-in feature, so users must toggle it on manually. Are there any reasons you would like it to be enabled by default?

I would not recommend using the Developer Edition to do this, as the measurement units are now unordered and the measurement-related logic is not structured to be enabled by a ready-to-use option.

I've come to echo #2. Especially because, as it is, it prevents the first polygon drawn from having area shown. The option doesn't show up until the first box is created and doesn't work backwards.

I see your point for #2. I think it's a valid request and will discuss it with the team. For #1, we don't implement ordering for the measurement units, so you won't be able to control the order even if you're on the developer edition. This feature is currently targeted for the 2025 June release.

The reason for #2 is the majority of our end users that are drawing lines or polygons on top of the map want to include measurements. So their request comes more from them wanting to save a click by enabling it and/or sometime they forget to enable it until they have it drawn in so they have redo their drawing with it enabled.

Can you elaborate about the comment of measurement units are now unordered and the measurement-related logic is not structured to be enabled by a ready-to-use option when using the Developer Edition? I'm building out a new application that I planned to use the Developer for a little more customization.
