Create a new layer every time the query is executed in Experience Builder

When setting up the the Query widget in the Web App Builder (WAB) I was able to add the query results to the layer list that my users could then toggle on and off.  Does this functionality exist in the Experience Builder (EB)?

I am able to configure the Query widget to add the selection results as a graphic to the map but it unfortunately does not appear in the Layer List.  Is this something that I can do in EB or if not, is this in any future plans for EB?

Thanks...

Layer list shows layers not graphics. Create a feature layer and then add the graphic. It will then show the layer. This can be done with custom script.

Thanks for your response but I don't think it's feasible to create a new feature service every time one of my users makes a query.  All I'm asking for is the same functionality that already existing in the WAB.  In the WAB there was a setting that created a temporary query results service that was stored in the layer list and once the user closed their app / session the query results service disappeared.

I'm not asking for Esri to create something new, just give us what already existed before.

Did you find any workarounds for this issue? I also need to be able to create a new layer like in WAB each time for query results. This is a big component that is missing in Experience Builder.

Hey Erika,

Unfortunately I haven't heard anything more from Esri and I unfortunately do not have a solution yet.

@Jianxia is there any chance that this will be addressed in future ExB releases.

@DJB , could you please help submit an enhancement request to Esri Support?

I'd like to add my support to this - the ability to add multiple individual query results as operational layers is also important to us. @Jianxia did this ever get added to the roadmap?
