Can I customize the search tool text color in LIST widget?

I am building an app using Experience Builder. I added the list widget to display my data and toggled the search tool to be enabled. The color of the search tool text defaults to this light grey color. The main theme color of my app is this blue that you see in the image below (brand requirement color), which contrasts quite horribly with the default search text color (I can barely read the text).  I've changed every color in the theme and used every template, but the color of that text in particular will not change. Am I missing something, or is it not configurable? Thanks in advance!

This is a nice feature to have, currently the items in my list widget searches are near unreadable.
