Turn off "Show print area" when user moves away from the Print widget

I have had a few users get confused by the persistent teal box that stays on their screen when they use the print widget and enable the "Show print area" option. They are forgetting to turn it off when they are done. It would be great if it just toggled off automatically when the user navigates away from the tool.

I agree with this recomendation.  Same thing after a search result is "zoomed to".  The teal highlighted feature stays until you clear your search result.  Thanks
