Draw widget draw order - bring to front/send to back

At present, the draw widget draws the shapes created with it in the order they were last interacted with. 

So you might draw a shape - I've drawn a circle:

and then place a point on top of it:

And then you realise the shape isn't quite right - oh no, my circle should be an oval - so you select the shape and edit it:

And now my point has disappeared, and I've no way of selecting it:

Please can we have a bring to front / send to back facility for the draw widget?

It's another thing the @Brian_McLeer Draw Widget can do that ESRI cannot.
