I just upgraded from Desktop 10.2 to 10.2.2, and I get the attached error when either creating a new geodatabase, or trying to open an existing one. This happens both locally and on the network. Also, when I open a blank map, it creates about 7-10 default.gdb databases (none of which I can open).
Did anyone else have trouble? Thoughts? Antivirus issue?

I fully uninstalled 10.2.2 and reinstalled 10.2.2 and the geodatabase issue is gone now.
